Design Studio
Principles and planning tools learned in the plenary lectures
will be applied during a design exercise. Participants
will work in interdisciplinary teams. Experts will guide
the participants in developing a concept, optimising
performance and eff ectively presenting the results at the
closing session. This workshop is an ideal opportunity to
meet like-minded people, learn about good design, share
ideas and have fun!
The PC design tools used will be:
- IDEA, Casa Nova (passive solar design)
- Polysun (solar thermal systems)
- PVSYST (photovoltaics systems)
Please bring a laptop computer if you have one!
The results of the team work will be presented at the end of
the Workshop with a best design award.
