ISES Summer Workshop 2006
The International Summer Workshop is an 8 day practical
and technical training workshop in English focusing on solar
and low energy housing examples from Europe relevant
to temperate and cold climates. Join us for this exciting,
interdisciplinary event and learn about solar and low energy
housing from international experts!
This event is being held in the tradition of the ISES Solar
Academies. The International Solar Energy Society (ISES)
launched the first global Solar Academy in 1997. Building
designers and researchers present exemplary solar
architecture, new technologies and design tools.
The Summer Workshop consists of plenary lectures, personal
tutoring in the use of planning tools and a team design
studio exercise.
